Mr.
Johan Subarkah graduated from the
Economics Department of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta in 1990, and
obtained a Master of Science in Economics in 1996. He has been lecturing
in research methodology and regional economic development at a number of
universities in Yogyakarta.
Since
the beginning of his career he has been involved in a variety of
research and consultancy activities related to regional economic
development, water resources management and tourism.
He
participated in a wide range of projects including water resources and
participatory irrigation management, urban development, river
improvement, flood management, development of export of agricultural
products, small-enterprise development, regional investment plans,
community empowerment for welfare improvement, preparation of local
business plans, etc.
He is experienced working with international
institutions and agencies such as the World Bank, EU, USAID, and GTZ.
Mr.
Kristiaji with an M.Sc. in Accounting from the Academy of Economic
Sciences and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Indonesia,
Jakarta, is a seasoned finance expert with broad experience and
expertise in financial management, financial systems development,
financial and cost accounting, auditing as well as taxation. He has more
than seventeen years of experience in the evaluation of the financial
performance and profitability of a range of companies through analyses
of financial statements, preparation of financial policy reports (incl.
pricing policies and strategies, inventory policies, internal control
development as well as product costing policies and cost accumulated
systems), sensitivity analyses, assessment of investment needs,
provision of tools and options to shareholders to assist in decision
making.
He is
holder of a Public Accountant Certification enabling him to carry out
formal financial audits. He is familiar with international financial
rules and regulations, financial best practices, and financial reporting
and auditing standards.

Jim Wiryawan
Prof. Dr.
Jim Wiryawan holds a PhD in Business Management from the
University of South Australia, Adelaide (2002), an MBA from the
Pancasila University, Jakarta (1994), a B.Sc. degree in Philosophy from
the University of Indonesia (1987), and a law degree (LL.M) from the 17
August 1945 University, Jakarta (1967).
Prof. Wiryawan is an experienced business and management expert. He has
successfully undertaken services on various business operations and
industrial development for a number of firms and projects both
nationwide and overseas. He is also an International Expert Panel Member
of The World Competitiveness Yearbook, Switzerland. He served as an
Expert Consultant for the Minister of Youth & Sport Affairs, which
duties relate to the development of organization and management as well
as business operations of the Ministry. He has experience in business
operations of an Indonesian company for overseas operations. He has
received a Certificate of Appreciation from the State Secretariat/SEK-NEG
RI for his active participation under the auspices of the President’s
Advisory Council (WANTIMPRES) for Political Affairs.
He has been holding sales, marketing and
general management positions with US and EU MNCs in Indonesia and
overseas for nearly 40 years. His last executive position was as
President Director of a Chemical manufacturer cum exporter owned by
Sumitomo – Tosoh – SAU in Jakarta. He has been extensively working off
shore in the US, EU, the Scandinavian countries, Japan and the Middle
East exporting agro-based food products as his specialization.
Jim Wiryawan is now embarking on another career as senior lecturer in a
number of postgraduate programs at several prestigious universities in
Jakarta starting in 2002. Recently, he was appointed Professor in
International Business at a private university in Jakarta.
Mr. Asfihan Nur Arifin, with a M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning and Urban
Management from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), brings with
him extensive expertise in spatial planning and regional, urban and
rural planning and development. He has been assigned as Technical
Advisor and Team Leader to a variety of projects most of which dealt
with spatial planning and urban management. His scope of work included
urban and regional socio-economic development and spatial analysis,
governance and institutional development, public sector reform,
institutional strengthening and capacity building, community and local
government development, program development planning, strategic
planning, local institutional development (LID) and local economic
development (LED) in the context of urban management frameworks.
He
has strong interpersonal communication skills with extensive local and
senior government and community group development experience. Good
organizational and team building abilities and project management
experience. Considerable practical multi-sector field development
experience gained in working with professionals from many different
backgrounds and local level government and non-government decision
makers.
In addition, he has gained broad practical knowledge through hands-on
experience in development areas while assigned to a range of projects
during works supported and funded by international donor agencies such
as the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, in particular in post
tsunami Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and North Sumatra Provinces. He
provided advisory services as well as monitoring and evaluation of
development projects.
Mr. Jan
Scheele holds a B.Sc. in Nautical Science from the Higher Nautical
College, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (1964) as well as an MBA from the
Institute of Business Science, Bilthoven, The Netherlands (1978). His
studies focused on Management, International (maritime) Law, Marketing,
Finance and Economics, Project Management, and Industrial Engineering.
Jan Scheele
offers more than 30 years international (maritime) management experience
on CEO level, including 13 years in International Maritime Consultancy.
He was assigned to positions such as Team leader, Project Manager and
Project / Program Director, with long term assignments in Europe, Middle
East, Africa, Asia, South-East Asia and the Caribbean (Netherlands
Antilles).

(2002). He obtained his MSc. Degree in Economics from the

(1971), two BSc. Degrees, one in Social Sciences (Sociology,
Community Development and Participation, Participatory Rural Appraisal,
Social geography, Anthropology of Non-western Nations and Social Welfare)
from the Christian University of Indonesia, Jakarta (1966), the other
one in Economics (Accounting and Business Administration) from the
University of Indonesia, Jakarta (1965). He furthermore obtained a Post
Graduate Diploma in Public Health Economics of Developing Countries at
the University of Middleham, Phoenix, USA (2005).

King Boen Tan has long-term experience in working on large and medium
scale projects, in project design considering relevant institutional &
governance issues, participatory development, policy issues,
organizational capacity building and strategic planning. As Team Leader
assigned to various missions he was responsible for the management of
project activities, and he led multi-disciplinary teams. He is
experienced in conducting public financial management capacity building
needs assessments, providing budget support for sector policy and
program support, design and formulation of economic and social
performance indicators of major economic growth sectors and social
strategic sectors such as health, housing, and education), evaluation of
finance, contract, procurement and disbursement procedures of donor
agency contributions, evaluation of the performance and impact of public
finance management reforms across key sectors and programs aiming at
economic growth, poverty reduction and social security, cost

education, and low income housing, and their impacts on distribution of
