Social development – a good program design requires a strong foundation
in collaborative assessment and research of needs and capacities. Our
experts are all seasoned researchers who can design interventions that
focus on developing, empowering and strengthening the capacity
of communities and CSOs, cooperatives, associations and other organizations in
rural and urban settings to ensure the participation and representation
of all beneficiaries in their own development.
Active community
participation is a fundamental requirement for the sustained success of
many development efforts. Recognizing this, our experts assist in
forming and strengthening many informal grassroots groups into active
actors in the development process from needs and design to monitoring
and evaluation. Although the majority of our experts' experience focuses
on increasing the participation of the poor, women, and children in
civil society organizations, they have particularly relevant experience
in bringing diverse, often conflicting, stakeholders to the table in key
sectors such as agriculture, governance, post-disaster and post-conflict
rehabilitation, community health, and environmental management.
